Risk analysis of Transporting Raw Materials Throughout The Supply Chain

In this seminar, we will dive into risk assessment when it comes to food safety and hygiene during the transportation.

Descriptions:

When transporting raw materials and food, unwanted contamination with viruses, prions, pathogens such as salmonella spp, listeria monocytogenes, and chemicals such as cleaning chemical residues, chemical residues from past shipment, mycotoxins or foreign objects such as wood, glass, metal or plastic granules occurs again and again, which can leads to cost-intensive recalls running into the millions.

In the event of a product recall, the search for the causes begins. In most cases, the entire factory is examined. Few think about the fact that many of these contaminations are caused by a lack of or insufficient transport hygiene.

What are the causes of the lack of transport hygiene, the poor or inadequate cleaning and disinfection of the transport containers. Who bears what responsibility? The producer of the raw materials? The logistics service provider? The transport company, or the cleaning station? Or the recipient of the goods?

Who is this for?
